Shubhankar was top of his class when he completed his Bachelors of Business Administration from Oxford Brookes University in the UK, and has an MBA from Syracuse University where he graduated with honors. Shubhankar has over 6 years of experience as a marketing professional across three continents and varying industries. Last 4+ years, however he has developed expertise in certain facets of digital advertising, and eCommerce marketing by working at firms like Publicis, Reckitt Benckiser and Amazon Inc.

At Reckitt Benckiser (RB) he managed their eCommerce marketing strategy for Amazon.comWalMart.com, Costco.com and Target.com channels. He was a subject matter expert on PPC eCommerce by developing and scaling up Amazon’s AMS and Hooklogic (now Criteo) for Brick & Clicks. In his last year at RB he managed the RB eCommerce marketing budget for Amazon, working closely with AMG (Amazon Media Group), bringing RB up to one of the top performers in many core categories at Amazon. Currently, as a Marketing Manager for category BISS at Amazon.com, Shubhankar shares responsibility for a marketing budget that covers planning, developing, and executing category and vendor marketing programs. As a marketer focused on b2b customers, he has a keen focus in understanding b2b customer data and insights and developing key customer acquisition strategies using digital playbook as well as traditional channels. His customer obsession can be seen with the fact that one of his print acquisition campaign was featured by a reputed magazine in the electrical category, called ted magazine.
